TAS Series 3 HTCL 750 Thermal and Thermal Climatic Test Chamber

When extreme temperature testing and climatic control is required, the Series 3 offers ultimate flexibility

Typical applications include metallurgical conditioning and extreme durability testing, automotive temperature and humidity cycling, as well as corrosion testing and electronic PCB burn in etc.

Self contained humidity system with optional purifier and auto fill system, precision engineered air cooled cascade refrigeration system and optional large viewing window with integrated heater elements to ensure perfect visibility at all conditions.

Top of the line control system, with touch screen technology featuring fault diagnostics and audio visual alarm and fully featured multi tasking PC software for unbeatable programming and monitoring.

The T A S  Series 3 750 Ltr Environmental Chamber comprises a stainless steel inner chamber, fully seam welded, enclosed in a mild steel outer shell. Between the two is a layer of mineral fibre and foam insulation.

A fully-hermetic air cooled refrigeration system is used to lower the temperature of the inner chamber, the refrigerant being passed through an finned evaporator coil located at the rear of the chamber behind an air baffle system.

The refrigeration plant is located in the lower compartment of the chamber and exhausts warm air to the BACK of the machine.

Heating of the chamber is effected by inconnel sheathed heater elements located behind the baffle system.

Humidification is generated by injecting air into a hot water bath and subsequently into the chamber working area.

De-humidification is achieved by the use of a ‘dew point’ coil with anti icing features.

Air flow is achieved using one or two motors driving a 250mm blades fitted within a specially designed baffle system.

Temperature sensing is via PRT100 thermometers and Humidity sensing is via a solidstate sensor. The signals are fed to sophisticated HMI panel.

The machine is capable of STEADY STATE operation and optionally CYCLING, being programmable directly or via a PC interface. This interface also permits the recording of set and actual temperature values during a test.
