Description

This is an excellent opportunity to acquire the complete contents of two separate robotic MIG welding cells, featuring ABB-IRB Type 1400 & 6400 robots

Originally employed in automotive chassis manufacturing at GKN

Running on the S4C & S4C+ operating systems,these robots (purchased 2006) and support equipment, were comprehensively overhauled by ABB and the operating system upgraded in 2010 at a total cost of £150,000.

The contents of this ABB robotic Mig welding and handling cell will include the following -

Robotic MIG welding cell that compose of :

2 x ABB-IRB-1400 Arcitec Weld Robots Control Unit & Teach Pendant 
1 x ABB-IRB-6400R / S4C+ / RM2000 handling Robots,Control Unit & Teach Pendant 
1 x Dalmec Part Handling Holders/Manipulators 
1 x Weld Booth 
1 x Rapid Roller Shutter Doors 

Complete with main control cabinet, teach pendant and Mitsubishi E900  Machine Interface, no expense has been spared in the original investment and on-going service and maintenance.

Although the limitations are almost endless for their reuse, a few ideas to consider could be,repetition robotic spraying of components, robotic handling on or off line, eg picking and placing & removal onto jigs used in rack electroplating/ecote processes.
