Elevator hearth furnace for applications such as hardening, stress relieving, debonding and sintering of materials.
The workpieces are contained within an inconel 601 bell type retort, with a maximum load of 100kg
A Laminar flow of clean air across the product is provided
Raising and lowering of the hearth is by a linear actuated elevator platform
Usable gas tight retort dimensions: 500mm diameter x 500mm high Maximum temperature 1100°C, optimal working temperature 1000°C.
2 stage gas atmosphere injection to the chamber currently set for Nitrogen and Nitrogen/Hydrogen mix with a separate Nitrogen gas seal for the hearth.
Element type: resistance wire spiral supported in grooved ceramic side panels, arranged in a hexagonal formation to surround the retort and reduce distortion and ensure even heating and long life.
Balanced powered twin flues with controlled cool facility.
Insulation: low thermal mass insulation combined with nickel chromium tungsten iron alloy hearth
415-240 volts or 380-220 volts three phase and neutral, 41kW
