Wheelabrator 5 Wheel Reciprocating Section Peening Machine
This high specification machine was designed for use within the Aerospace Industry for the peening of aircraft components with media classification for the removal of broken and mis-shaped shot.
The blast cabinet is 4600 x 2300 x 2400mm high and has a reciprocating table that passes between the 4 side mounted, 8 bladed blast wheels, an optional 5th wheel can be mounted on the roof of the machine allowing a saturated and consistent blast pattern to be generated around the work piece. The table passes through the machine and onto the 8050mm extension tracks for the loading and unloading of the components. The machine is further equipped with an Airblast lance, media separation, elevator return column classifier scroll and large dust control plant.
